Texas’ leading physicians will head to the Fort Worth Convention Center April 30-May 1 for a chance to enhance patient care, stay abreast of clinical updates, and discuss key issues with experts in the field. With 100+ hours of clinical and business CME, a lively exhibit hall with 100 exhibits, and the opportunity to network with colleagues from all over the state, you don’t want to miss TexMed 2010.
TexMed also hosts TMA’s annual session of its House of Delegates. Reference committees consider socioeconomic, public health, science, medical education, and TMA financial and organizational issues on Friday, April 30, beginning at 8 am. All TMA members are welcome.

Robert Buckman, MD, PhD, will address physicians at the General Session with his Monty Python meets cutting-edge communication theory, How to Become an Effective Communicator and Still Stay Stupid. A world-class expert on interpersonal communication, Dr. Buckman lives in Toronto, Canada, where he is a medical oncologist at the Princess Margaret Hospital, and professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
